"I got a call from the vet saying a lady had called wanting to rehome a goat, she had tried selling her but nobody was interested, she said if a home couldn't be found Violet would be PTS.
We said we would take her and we were told she was about 7 years old. When we got her home, we found she was very lame, and is permanently so.
She has obviously had some trauma to the foot, the vet thinks an untreated abscess. We also thinks he is about 12, she certainly and old lady and gets very thin in the winter”
